WICOMICO COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARREST TWO SUBJECTS FROM CAREY AVENUE DRUG INVESTIGATION

Salisbury, MD – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) initiated an investigation into drug activity after receiving several tips in reference to drug activity at a residence in the 300 block of Carey Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland. WCSO had been notified that the residence has become a nuisance house to the community.

The WCSO Community Action Team (CAT) conducted the investigation and identified Jeanine Theresa Mamolito as the resident of the location and the individual that maintains the residence.

A search and seizure warrant was authored for the residence and served on March 16, 2023, by members of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team (SERT), Criminal Investigation Division (CID), and the Community Action Team (CAT).

Jeannie Mamolito and Chevon Little were located inside the residence. A search of the residence revealed evidence of drug distribution and drug usage.

Little was charged on the scene with possession of cocaine and released.

Mamolito was arrested and charged with maintaining a common nuisance to administer CDS, possession of cocaine, possession of suboxone, possession of alprazolam, and possession of CDS administer equipment.

Mamolito was released on an unsecured bond.

All subjects mentioned in this press release are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
