Covid Vaccination Clinics

Since the week of December 21st, the Wicomico County Health Department (WiCHD) has held sixty-one Covid-19 vaccination clinics for those individuals listed in Phase 1A, 1B, 1C as well as Phase 2A and 2B. Throughout these clinics, WiCHD administered the first doses and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to 17,026 people. Of those vaccinations, 1,639 were administered this week.

Vaccination efforts continue to prioritize the individuals in Phase 1, Phase 2A and Phase 2B.  Phase 2C and Phase 3 can now pre-register.  Please email Wicomico.COVIDvax@maryland.gov  and include your age or what phase you fall in and how you qualify for that phase.  The health department will email you a link to make an appointment.  The WiCHD Covid-19 vaccination clinics are held at the Center at Salisbury mall between Home Goods and Burlington (the old Tuesday Morning Location).

Please remember WiCHD is NOT running the Mass Vaccination Clinic at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center. This clinic is managed by the Maryland Department of Health (MDH). Following Governor Hogan’s announcement, the Mass Vaccination Clinic at the Civic Center will open a no-appointment walk-up line for any eligible Marylander starting April 2nd.

Walk-in opportunities at the Mass Vaccination Clinic are available between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and wait times may vary depending on clinic volume. The Covid-19 vaccination clinics are fully booked for Saturday, April 3rd. Due to the Easter holiday, the clinic will be closed on Sunday, April 4th.  For more information or to pre-register, please call 1-855-634-6829 or visit COVIDvax.maryland.gov
