Wicomico County, MD – On May 12, 2023, the Honorable Karen M. Dean, Associate Judge of the Circuit Court for Wicomico County, sentenced Treyvon Walston, age 25, to fifteen (15) years of incarceration in the Division of Corrections.

On March 14, 2023, Walston entered a plea by way of a not-guilty agreed statement of facts to Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl. At the time, Walston was on supervised probation for Sexual Offense in the Second Degree, and this conviction served to violate Walston’s probation.

Judge Dean imposed the totality of his backup time for the violation of probation, sentencing Walston to eighteen (18) months of incarceration to run consecutively to his 15-year sentence.

Members of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into Walston distributing drugs within Wicomico County.

On July 28, 2022, law enforcement officers executed a search and seizure warrant on Walston’s residence. As a result, 54.128 grams of fentanyl, tramadol, cocaine, drug-related packaging material, and other evidence indicative of drug distribution were located and seized.

Wicomico County State’s Attorney (SA) Jamie L. Dykes commended Det. Tawes and other members of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team for their work in the investigation. SA Dykes also commended Assistant State’s Attorney Michael Calabrese, who prosecuted the case.
