Salisbury Police Department Makes Arrest of December Armed Robbery Suspect

The Salisbury Police Department arrested and charged a Salisbury man with a December Armed Robbery at a local gas station.

On December 2, 2020 at approximately 1:46 in the afternoon, officers from the Salisbury Police Department responded to the Tiger Mart Convenience Store, located at 501 Spring Hill Road, in reference to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the 23-year-old male victim, who was working in the store at the time of the robbery.

The victim advised that he was approached by a black male suspect, who indicated that he was armed and demanded money from the cash register. The victim then provided the suspect an undisclosed amount of US currency. The suspect then fled from the scene of the incident.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify 19-year-old Cameron Milbourne as the suspect in this incident. An application for charges was submitted to the District Court Commissioner’s Office wherein an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest.

On March 18, 2021 at approximately 10:20 AM in the morning members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) located Mr. Milbourne at a residence on the 600 block of Upland Court. Mr. Milbourne was placed under arrest without incident.

Mr. Milbourne was transported to the Salisbury Police Department, and then later released to the Wicomico County Detention Center, where he had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

The Salisbury Police Department would like to thank CARFTF for their assistance in this investigation. CARFTF is an interjurisdictional law enforcement unit consisting of members of the US Marshals Service, Maryland State Police, Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, Salisbury Police Department, and Division of Parole and Probation (Salisbury Field Office).
