WORCESTER COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE INVESTIGATING FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH IN BISHOPVILLE
Bishopville, MD - On May 26, 2024, at approximately 8:13 PM, Deputies with the Worcester County Sheriff's Office and the Bishopville Volunteer Fire Department (Station 900) responded to the area of 11810 Back Creek Road, Bishopville, Maryland 21813 in reference to a single motor vehicle crash.
The initial report stated that the vehicle had struck a tree, and the operator of the vehicle was entrapped inside the vehicle.
We have now learned that the man succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The operator of the vehicle has been identified as Mr. Harold J. Gray Jr, a 56 years old man from Bishopville, MD.
Members of the Worcester County Sheriff's Office Crash Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
