WORCESTER COUNTY DEPUTY SUFFERS NON-LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES IN HEAD-ON COLLISION

Worcester County, MD - A Worcester County Sheriff's Deputy was involved in a head-on collision earlier this morning on Racetrack Road in Berlin, Maryland, in front of the Shore Stop/Valero Gas Station.

The incident occurred when a GMC van emerging from the Tidal Health Ocean Pines Campus in Berlin, Maryland, crossed over into the southbound lane and collided head-on with the deputy's vehicle.

The deputy, who was traveling southbound at the time of the incident, was rushed to Atlantic General Hospital (AGH) for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the van was also transported to the hospital, Tidal Health, for non-life-threatening injuries.
