WICOMICO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE LOCATING SHOOTING SUSPECT
Wicomico County, MD - On Saturday, November 16, 2024, a local Salisbury woman was left fighting for her life after a shooting in Salisbury, Maryland. Deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office are now urgently seeking the public's help to apprehend the suspect, who has been identified as Dequan "Quan" Maurice Bratten, a 32-year-old resident of Salisbury, Maryland.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:20 PM in the 500 block of North Curlew Road in Salisbury, Maryland. The deputies responded to a report of a shooting, and upon their arrival, they found a female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The officers quickly secured the scene and administered life-saving measures until Emergency Medical Services arrived. The victim was immediately transported to Tidal Health, where she continues to battle life-threatening injuries but is listed in stable condition.
Following the suspect's identification, an arrest warrant was issued for Bratten, and the authorities are now seeking the public's assistance in locating him.
