WICOMICO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE MAKES ARREST FOLLOWING 2 MONTH INVESTIGATION INTO DRUG DISTRIBUTION
Salisbury, MD - In June and July of 2024, members of the Community Action Team (CAT) received information that Everett Dale Fields was residing on the 400 block of Buena Vista Ave, in Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland, and distributing powder and crack cocaine from this location.
Members of CAT authored a Search and Seizure Warrant for the residence. On July 19, 2024, members of the Sheriff's Emergency Response Team, CID, and CAT served the search warrant. Deputies secured the residence and detained Fields.
During the search of the residence, the following items were seized:
• 16.63 grams of suspected crack cocaine
• 7.07 grams of suspected powder cocaine
• A Zip-lock bag with compressed cocaine, in brick form - 111.72 grams
• Four baggies of crack cocaine - 29.03 grams, 29.05 grams, 29.10 grams, and 29.07 grams respectively
• Two digital scales in working order
• Two Pyrex jars and a spoon used for manufacturing crack cocaine
• $5,848 in US currency
Fields was arrested, charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and other related CDS charges, and was released to the Wicomico County Detention Center where he is currently held without bond.
All individuals listed in this report are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
