WICOMICO COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE INVESTIGATING FRIDAY AFTERNOON HOMICIDE
Wicomico County, MD - On June 7, 2024 at approximately 12:30 P.M., Deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff's responded to the 900 Block of Mineola Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland in reference to a shooting.
Upon arriving at the scene, Deputies located the victim, identified as Brookes Lamar Dashiell, seated in the driver's side of his vehicle.
Dashiell sustained numerous gunshot wounds and was transported to Tidal Health Emergency Room where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Criminal Investigation Division responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
