WICOMICO COUNTY COUNCIL MEMBER SHANE BAKER APPEARS IN COURT; PETITIONERS GRANTED TEMPORARY PEACE ORDER

Wicomico County, MD - A temporary hearing for a peace order against Wicomico County Council Member Shane Baker was scheduled for 8:30 AM this morning at the District Court of Maryland in Wicomico County.
However, due to a conflict, the judge had to recuse themselves, and the case was moved to a judge in Dorchester County, Maryland, from the District Court of Maryland in Cambridge.
That judge conducted the temporary peace order hearing via telecommunications for both peace orders issued against Mr. Baker.
That judge, ruled in favor of the temporary peace order, with the final hearing scheduled for next week, Friday, January 31, 2025,25 in the District Court of Maryland in Wicomico County.
