UPGRADED PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT COMING TO DOVERDALE PARK IN SALISBURY, MARYLAND

Wicomico County, MD - The City of Salisbury has announced plans to upgrade the playground equipment at Doverdale Park in Salisbury, Maryland, highlighting its ongoing commitment to improving public spaces and recreational opportunities.


The demolition of the existing playground equipment is scheduled for April 30, with the installation of new equipment set to begin the week of May 5. During the construction phase, the playground area will be temporarily closed to ensure visitor safety and facilitate a smooth installation process.


The project is expected to take about two weeks, barring any unforeseen circumstances.


Mayor Randy Taylor emphasized the city's commitment to enhancing community parks, stating, "We're always looking for ways to improve our parks and make them safe, welcoming, and fun for families. Upgrading Doverdale Park is just one of the ways we're working to make life better for everyone in Salisbury."
