THREE JUVENILES CHARGED IN CAMBRIDGE ARMED ROBBERY

Cambridge, MD - On January 26, 2024, at approximately 5:15 pm, Cambridge Police Department Officers responded to the 600 block of Wells St in Cambridge, Maryland for a reported Armed Robbery.  

Officers met with the victims, who reported that they were approached by five African American juvenile males all dressed in black.  The victims advised that four of the male suspects blocked the sidewalk while the 5th suspect approached the victims and pulled out a handgun.  The victims were assaulted and the suspect pointed the handgun at the victim's chest.  

The suspect then demanded the victim empty their pockets.  The victim pulled out a cell phone and their wallet, which contained identification and a credit card.  The victim dropped the items on the sidewalk, where the suspect picked the items up.  At that point, all 5 suspects fled the area on foot.  

Three of the juvenile suspects were identified by the victims.  The 3 juveniles who were identified are 13 years old, 15 years old, and 16 years old and respectively all from Cambridge, Maryland. 

Cambridge Police contacted the Dorchester County State's Attorney, who advised them to conduct juvenile referrals on the 3 juveniles for their involvement in the armed robbery.  The 3 juveniles have been charged with the following:


  • Conspiracy Armed Robbery

  • Conspiracy Robbery

  • Conspiracy Assault 1st Degree

  • Conspiracy Assault 2nd Degree

  • Conspiracy Theft $100 to Under $1,500
