SUSSEX COUNTY MAN CONVICTED OF 2023 CHILD RAPE IN SEAFORD
Sussex County, DE - The Delaware Department of Justice confirmed on December 10, 2024, that Fidel Chamorro-Ramirez, 19, has been convicted of second-degree rape in the Sussex County Superior Court.
The details surrounding this case are unsettling, having caused much distress among the local community. The crime, committed by Chamorro-Ramirez in June 2023 when he was 18 years old, involved the rape of a 12-year-old child in their Seaford, Delaware home, where he was residing at the time.
