STRUCTURE FIRE ON HUDSON ROAD RULED ACCIDENTAL

Cambridge, MD - On March 20, 2025 at approximately 3:56 PM, a structure fire broke out at a two-story, wood-framed, single-family dwelling located in the 2100 block of Hudson Road in Cambridge, Maryland.


The incident, which resulted in significant property damage, is believed to have started from an accidental fire caused by burning trash outside the residence.

The fire was discovered by the residents, who immediately contacted the fire department.


Firefighters from the Rescue Fire Company (Station 1) along with several assisting units, arrived at the scene and brought the blaze under control within 20 minutes, limiting the extent of damage to the property.


No injuries were reported during the incident.
