SOMERSET COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ANNOUNCES PASSING OF KEARON D. "BUTCH" LEHMAN SR

Somerset County, MD - The Somerset County Sheriff's Office has announced the passing of Kearon D. "Butch" Lehman Sr., a respected former deputy who served the community from January 1998 until his retirement in June 2002.

"Butch" passed away on April 3, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He is fondly remembered by both the community and his colleagues for his unwavering dedication to his role and the numerous commendations he received during his tenure.

Memorial services to honor "Butch" Lehman will be held on May 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Hinman's Funeral Home, located at 11673 Somerset Avenue in Princess Anne, MD.

In a gesture of remembrance, the family has requested that any gifts be made in the form of donations to the Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial Fund, which reflects what "Butch" valued deeply: service and sacrifice.
