SHED FIRE IN CAMBRIDGE, MARYLAND UNDER INVESTIGATION

Cambridge, MD - On March 22, 2025 at approximately 3:08 PM, a fire broke out in a wooden shed measuring 8 feet by 5 feet on the 700 block of Washington Street in Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland.


The blaze was first discovered by a passerby who promptly alerted the authorities. The Rescue Fire Company was the primary responding agency, deploying 15 firefighters to the scene. The fire, which originated at the rear exterior of the shed, was brought under control within 10 minutes.


The incident caused an estimated $500 in structural damage to the shed. The preliminary cause of the fire is still under investigation.
