SENIOR ASSISTANT STATES ATTORNEY PATRICK GILBERT RECEIVES MARYLAND STATES ATTORNEYS ASSOCIATIONS PRESIDENTS AWARD
Wicomico County, MD - On March 5, 2024, the Maryland State's Attorneys' Association's (MSAA) President's Award was presented to Wicomico County Senior Assistant State's Attorney Patrick Gilbert. This yearly award recognizes a prosecutor within Maryland who has shown exceptional dedication and service to the profession.
Presented by Rich Gibson, the State's Attorney for Howard County and President of the MSAA, the award praised Sr. ASA Gilbert's contributions to prosecution and highlighted his commitment to enhancing the profession's level of professionalism.
Apart from his commendable performance as the Chief of the Prosecution Integrity Unit, Sr. ASA Gilbert is also part of the MSAA's Legislative Committee, where he collaborates with prosecutors across Maryland, advocating for legislation that promotes justice and equality within the criminal legal system.
Sr ASA Gilbert expressed gratitude and humility regarding his recognition. He said, "I'm humbled by this recognition and grateful to the MSAA for the opportunity to work on such important issues."
