SALISBURY UNIVERSITY HOSTS COMMUNITY HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES
Salisbury, MD - Salisbury University will once again host a community Halloween celebration 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 31, on Camden Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland.
Candy will be available to trick-or-treaters while supplies last at select houses from SU's Scarborough Student Leadership Center (1200 Camden Avenue) to the University's Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution (1100 Camden Avenue). Costumes are encouraged during this rain-or-shine event.
In addition, SU's Richard A. Henson School of Science and Technology hosts a "Spooky Science Spectacular" from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Henson Science Hall. The drop-in event will feature chemistry-, physics- and biology-related activities including mixing potions to create spooky slime, making candy DNA, writing secret messages with "magic" paper and creating ice cream in a "smoking" cauldron.
Attendees also have the opportunity to walk through the recently opened Henson Planetarium.
Admission is free, and the public is invited. The Scarborough Center will have designated parking for all activities.
