SALISBURY UNIVERSITY EXHIBIT SHOWCASES ENDURING CONNECTIONS, ENDURING LEGACIES: BLACK HISTORIES ON THE DELMARVA

Salisbury, MD - Salisbury University's Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture is set to host a new exhibition titled "Enduring Connections, Enduring Legacies: Black Histories on Delmarva in the Late 19th Century". The exhibition will commence on Monday, August 26, in the Patricia A. Guerrieri Academic Commons First-Floor Lobby.


This exhibit offers a unique opportunity for visitors to explore the histories of Black individuals and families who were residing on Delmarva during the late 19th century, marking a significant period of transition. The exhibit features an array of records and narratives that are accessible via the Nabb Center's online project, Enduring Connections: Exploring Delmarva's Black History.


The exhibition is free of charge and open to the general public. Advanced registration is required for those who plan to park at the University. Free parking passes can be obtained from www.salisbury.edu/parking.
