SALISBURY MARATHON RETURNS ON APRIL 5; BE AWARE OF ROAD CLOSURES

Salisbury, MD - The Salisbury Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K races, which will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Downtown Salisbury will once again be the location where runners from all over the country will gather and run in this annual race.

Fans are encouraged to attend the event in order to show their support for the athletes who are competing. The event promises to be an entertaining day filled with athleticism and community spirit.

The guests are encouraged to keep themselves informed about road closures and to arrange their journeys accordingly in order to avoid any difficulty with travel.

Road Closures:

Friday, April 4, starting at 1 p.m.

• The Downtown Plaza (West Main Street from Market Street to Division Street) will be closed from 1 p.m. onward for event setup.

Saturday, April 5, from 6 a.m. - 3 p.m.:

• Main Street from Lake Street to Court Street
• Division Street from Route 50 to Circle Avenue
• Camden Street
• West Church Street from St. Peter's Street to Division Street
• St. Peter's Street
• Mill Street from the roundabout to Route 50

Additionally, South Park Drive by the City Park will be closed from Beaver Dam Drive to Snow Hill Road from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
