SALISBURY FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO SATURDAY SHED FIRE

Salisbury, MD - On Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 1:59 PM, the Salisbury Fire Department responded to a fire in the 500 block of Collins Street in Salisbury, Maryland. The fire, which involved a shed measuring 10' x 20', was quickly controlled within 2 minutes using fire extinguishers.

The property owner discovered the fire, which triggered a single alarm from the fire department. Six firefighters were quickly on the scene to battle the flames. The team's rapid and effective response prevented the fire from spreading and causing more damage.

Despite the speedy containment, the property owner still suffered a loss. The structure suffered damage estimated to be worth $200, while the contents within the shed amassed a loss approximated at $50.
