ROBBERY AT BRADFORD HOUSE LEADS TO THE ARREST OF ONE AND CHARGES PENDING ON ANOTHER
Cambridge, MD - A local woman has been arrested in connection with a reported assault that took place at the Bradford House on Race St. The incident took place on March 29th, 2024, but wasn't reported until April 1st, 2024 when Cambridge Police responded to a call from the victim.
The victim, who remains anonymous for safety reasons, reported that 33-year-old Cambridge local Leonora Elvira Pinder, along with another unidentified female, attacked him in the elevator of the Bradford House.
The victim was reportedly exiting the elevator on the 4th floor when Pinder began her assault. The assault continued with the second suspect joining in, resulting in the victim being pulled from the elevator, thrown to the ground, and their walker being tossed aside.
After the assault, the alleged assailants robbed the victim of their personal belongings.
Cambridge Police officers viewed security footage from the Bradford House confirming the victim's account. Shortly after leaving the location, police identified and arrested Leonora Elvira Pinder, who was transported to the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) for processing.
Pinder made an initial appearance before a Court Commissioner and has been placed into the custody of the Dorchester County Department of Corrections with no bond option. The second individual involved in the assault has been identified, and charges are pending.
This case marks a crucial step in the local police department's commitment to ensuring public safety and bringing the alleged offenders to justice.
