REPEAT OFFENDER CHARGED AGAIN IN THEFT FROM WALMART
CAMBRIDGE, MD - On February 18, 2024, Officers from the Cambridge Police Department served a Criminal Summons to Maurice Collier.
These charges were in response to a shoplifting incident that transpired on December 10, 2023, at the local Walmart, from which Collier had previously been barred.
Collier is facing several charges, including 4th-degree burglary theft, theft valued between $100 and $1,500, and private property trespassing.
The charges were initiated after Walmart Asset Protection spotted Collier entering the store, despite his existing ban, and attempting to shoplift $141.86 worth of laundry soap and assorted bags of candy.
The Walmart Asset Protection Officers filed charges against Collier with the Court Commissioner, and subsequently a Criminal Summons was issued.
