Queen Anne's County, MD - On February 25, 2025, at approximately 8:49 p.m., a structure fire was reported in the 200 block of Upland Lane in Centreville, Queen Anne's County, Maryland. The fire affected a detached shed measuring 10 feet by 20 feet.

The fire was discovered by a vigilant neighbor, who promptly alerted the authorities. The Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company was the primary responding unit.

Forty-five firefighters worked effectively to control the fire within 20 minutes of their arrival. The estimated loss of the structure and its contents is around $20,000.
