PITTSVILLE MAN CHARGED WITH HARASSMENT AND STALKING OVER THREATENING EMAILS THAT WERE SENT TO EASTERN SHORE UNDERCOVER

Wicomico County, MD - The Maryland State Police have charged 39-year-old Ryan Peek from Pittsville, Maryland, in connection to the stalking and harassment of the owner of Eastern Shore Undercover and his family.


The case was initiated after very serious threatening emails were sent anonymously to the Eastern Shore Undercover email address. 


The emails were continuous and of threatening nature to include threats to the owner of Eastern Shore Undercover, Earl Campbell, and his family, most notably, a 4-year-old member of Campbell's family.


An investigation was launched by the Maryland State Police and after an extensive investigation, they were able to positively identify Peek as one of the individuals having involvement in sending the electronic threats and harassing emails.


Maryland State Police applied for charges on Peek for the following:


  • Harassment; A Course of Conduct
  • Stalking
  • Electronic Communications Harassment


Peek will have his first appearance in the Wicomico District Court on January 28, 2025, for his preliminary inquiry.
