OCEAN CITY CHRISTMAS PARADE TRAFFIC PATTERN

OCEAN CITY, MD - The Ocean City Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, starting at 11 a.m. with an extended route from Old Landing Road to 120th Street. To accommodate the event, the Department of Public Works will begin setting up traffic changes at 7:45 a.m., with the full traffic pattern in effect by 9:00 a.m.


Traffic Pattern Details:

  • Southbound lanes of Coastal Highway, from 100th Street to 125th Street, will be closed for the parade and spectator viewing.
  • Northbound lanes will be reduced to allow for two-way traffic.
  • Expect traffic delays before, during, and immediately following the parade.


After the parade, the fun continues at the Carousel with an awards presentation and family-friendly activities for all to enjoy. We encourage you to stay and be part of the post-parade celebrations.
