MILLSBORO MAN ARRESTED ON DUI AND DRUG CHARGES

Millsboro, DE - On Friday evening, March 28, 2025, the Delaware State Police arrested 38-year-old Brandon Myers of Millsboro, Delaware, on charges related to driving under the influence (DUI) and illegal drug possession.
At approximately 7:10 p.m., a trooper on patrol observed a silver Ford Flex exiting the Royal Farms parking lot and turning onto Mount Joy Road. The officer initiated a traffic stop after noticing that the driver, later identified as Brandon Myers, was not wearing a seatbelt and that the vehicle had a non-operational passenger-side headlight.
During the traffic stop, the trooper observed signs of drowsiness in Myers and noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view on the vehicle's center console. A search of Myers' pocket revealed several waxed bags suspected to contain heroin.
Following this, Myers was subjected to a Standardized Field Sobriety Test, which led to his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Further investigation of the vehicle uncovered approximately 105 bags of heroin, totaling around 3.15 grams, along with additional drug paraphernalia.
Myers was transported to Troop 4, where he was formally charged with the following offenses:
- Driving Under the Influence (DUI) of a Drug
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Tier 2 Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Driver Must Wear Properly Adjusted and Fastened Seatbelt
He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3 and subsequently released on a $7,875 unsecured bond.
