Millsboro, DE - The Delaware State Police have arrested 56-year-old Harry Hudson of Millsboro, Delaware, for gun-related offenses following a shots-fired incident on Saturday night, March 22, 2025.

At approximately 11:25 p.m., troopers were dispatched to Gravel Hill Road in Millsboro, Delaware, in response to a report of disorderly conduct and possible gunfire.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers learned that Hudson had initially approached a social gathering at a neighbor's residence and displayed disorderly behavior toward several attendees.

The homeowner requested that Hudson leave the premises, which he did, but he returned shortly afterward, accompanied by a large dog, and made threatening statements. Hudson was then requested to leave the property again, which he complied.

As he was leaving, he was observed removing a concealed handgun from under his clothing and holding it as he walked away. Moments later, attendees reported hearing gunfire coming from the direction of Hudson's property, followed by Hudson shouting verbal threats.

Troopers located Hudson in the driveway of his residence, where he was shouting obscenities. He was detained without incident, and a loaded firearm was found on the ground nearby during his arrest.

A subsequent computer check revealed that Hudson is a convicted felon, making him prohibited from owning or possessing firearms and ammunition.

Hudson was transported to Troop 4, where he faced the following charges:

  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited (Felony)
  • Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (Felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence
  • Disorderly Conduct

Hudson was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on a $21,050 unsecured bond.
