Wicomico County, Md. - The Maryland Folk Festival returns to Downtown Salisbury in just under four months, and the festival couldn't happen without the generous support of its sponsors.

Five of the major area sponsors have all returned after supporting the festival in its inaugural year, 2023. The 2024 Maryland Folk Festival is set for Sept. 20-22 and is a free event that will feature hundreds of performances, artists, crafters, food and more.

For 2024, the Maryland State Arts Council and MSAC's traditional arts program, Maryland Traditions, are the sponsors of the Maryland Traditions Folklife Area & Stage; Perdue Farms returns as the sponsor of the Perdue Dance Stage; Salisbury University and its Fulton School of Liberal Arts are the sponsors of the Salisbury University Locals Stage; and Toyota is the sponsor of the Toyota Narrative Stage. The Richard A. Henson Foundation will return as the Family Area sponsor.

"We are so grateful to our generous sponsors," said Caroline O'Hare, events and culture manager for the City of Salisbury's Arts, Business and Culture Department. "Sponsors like these make the Maryland Folk Festival possible."
