LEWES MAN ARRESTED FOR REHOBOTH BEACH RESTAURANT BURGLARY
Rehoboth Beach, DE - On March 27, 2024, a local resident, 37-year-old John Ottolini of Lewes, Delaware, was arrested by the Delaware State Police for a burglary that occurred at the Agave Mexican Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2024.
Ottolini reportedly entered through an unlocked door, stealing cash, alcohol, and keys to a Ford Transit van, which he later stole.
The theft was reported on February 15, 2024, and troopers recovered the stolen van the following day. After a thorough investigation, detectives identified Ottolini as the suspect, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Ottolini was apprehended on March 27, 2024, and charged with theft and burglary offenses at Troop 4. Ottoline was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was released on his own recognizance.
