LAW ENFORCEMENT IS INVESTIGATING A TUESDAY SHOOTING IN SEAFORD DELAWARE THAT CLAIMED THE LIFE OF ONE PERSON

Seaford, DE - The Delaware State Police have launched an investigation into a fatal shooting that took place in Seaford on April 8, 2025, resulting in the death of a 32-year-old local man. The incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. on Clarence Street, situated between Thomas Street and Chandler Street within Seaford's city limits.
Authorities from the Seaford Police Department and Delaware State Police arrived at the scene following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately initiated life-saving measures.
Despite their efforts, the individual was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital. The victim's identity is currently being withheld pending family notification.
Given the gravity of the case, the Seaford Police Department enlisted the assistance of the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit to undertake the investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that multiple suspects may have been involved in the shooting.
