LAUREL POLICE LOOKING FOR WITNESSES TO WEDNESDAY MORNING MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH

Laurel, DE - On Nov. 15, 2023 at approximately 5:58 AM, Laurel Police Department units were dispatched to the intersection of Sussex Highway and County Seat Highway (US13/US9) for a motor vehicle crash with injury. 

Initial arriving officers had Southbound Sussex Highway closed at Discount Land Road, and County Seat Highway/Georgetown Road diverted from the intersection. 

The intersection was re-opened at approximately 7:00 am. 

As a result of the collision, two subjects were transported to a local hospital. Injury status is not being released at this time.
