GOVERNOR MATT MEYER ANNOUNCES NOMINATION OF JOSHUA SANDERLIN AS DELAWARE'S NEXT MARIJUANA COMMISSIONER

State of Delaware - Governor Matt Meyer has announced the nomination of Joshua Sanderlin as Delaware's next Marijuana Commissioner. With over 15 years of experience in regulatory compliance and a strong focus on cannabis law, Sanderlin brings extensive knowledge to this role. His nomination will be presented to the Delaware State Senate for confirmation.

Governor Meyer emphasized Sanderlin's expertise and leadership skills, highlighting his ability to effectively launch and manage Delaware's adult-use marijuana market. Meyer expressed confidence in Sanderlin's capability to create a system that prioritizes safety, transparency, and opportunity.

Sanderlin has an impressive background as an attorney and government affairs specialist, having worked extensively with businesses, investors, and policymakers. Before founding Sanderlin Strategies, PLLC, he was an attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he handled litigation, regulatory compliance, and legislative matters. His commitment to transparency, equity, and responsible governance is evident throughout his career.

Sanderlin holds a Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America, a Master of Public Administration from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Jacksonville University.
