GLEBE ROAD FIRE RULED ACCIDENTAL FROM GRILLING NEAR RESIDENCE
Easton, MD - On December 3, 2024, firefighters in Easton, Maryland, responded to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of Glebe Road. The fire broke out at around 4:34 P.M., engulfing a one-story, single-family dwelling.
The primary responding fire department was the Easton Volunteer Fire Department. A total of 50 brave firefighters battled the fire for approximately one and a half hours before it was finally controlled.
The estimated property loss is estimated at a staggering $150,000.00.
The fire was reported to have originated from the exterior of the dwelling. Preliminary investigations reveal that the cause was accidental, as the reporting party had used a cooking grill located adjacent to the dwelling.
