FOUR INDIVIDUALS FROM SALISBURY UNIVERSITY ARE AMONG THE LEADERSHIP MARYLAND CLASS OF 2024 GRADUATES

SALISBURY, MD - Salisbury University recently celebrated the graduation of four of its esteemed professionals from the Leadership Maryland Class of 2024 programs. This marks a significant achievement for the university and the individuals involved, symbolizing their dedication to improving their expertise and abilities.


David Fike '16 (LM), the president and CEO of Leadership Maryland, extended his congratulations to both the Executive Program Class and the newly formed Emerging Leader class. Fike took pride in their journey and growth as they became catalysts for positive transformation in their respective circles.


From Salisbury University, the incomparable Dr. Maarten Pereboom, who is the dean of SU's Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, graduated from the Executive Program, along with 51 other distinguished members. Each member of this class has shown remarkable resilience and adaptability in their leadership journey.


Additionally, Dr. Deirdra Johnson, the associate vice president of student affairs, Lauren McDermott, the Eastern Shore Regional GIS Cooperative (ESRGC) practice manager, and Jessica Iacona Jahnke, the Business Economic and Community Outreach Network (BEACON) associate director, graduated from the Emerging Leader Program. This group represents the unstoppable, up-and-coming leaders from all across the state.


These graduates now join Leadership Maryland's illustrious alumni network, a vibrant community of over 1,500 leaders from various regions of Maryland. This community is a testament to the enduring impact of the organization's programs.
