FIRE BREAKS OUT IN SOMERSET COUNTY PORTABLE TOILET

Crisfield, MD - On July 10, 2024, at approximately 10:36 PM, a fire broke out in the 26800 block of Old State Road in Crisfield, Somerset County, Maryland. The affected structure was a portable toilet owned by the county.


The Crisfield Fire Department responded to the incident, which was discovered by a passerby. A team of six firefighters managed to fully control the fire within five minutes of their arrival on site.


The estimated loss from the fire is $500. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and its point of origin at this moment.
