FAILING TO APPEAR IN COURT RESULTS IN ARREST AND MORE CHARGES FOR CAMBRIDGE MAN
Cambridge, MD - On February 14, 2024, Paul Woodson Simpson, a 71-year-old Cambridge, Maryland man was scheduled to appear in the Dorchester County Circuit Court. Simpson failed to appear and a body attachment was issued for his arrest.
The following day, on February 15, 2024, at approximately 3:09 PM, Cambridge Police located Mr. Simpson and placed him under arrest.
When officers searched Simpson incident to the arrest, he was found to be in possession of cocaine and related paraphernalia. Simpson was transported to Cambridge Police Department for processing.
Simpson was issued Criminal Citations for the drug violations and was turned over to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections on No Bond on the Body Attachment.
Simpson was charged with the following:
- CDS Possession Not Cannabis
- CDS Possession Paraphernalia
