EASTON POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES THE PASSING OF RETIRED FIRST SERGEANT RHONDA THOMAS
Easton, MD - The Easton Police Department has announced the passing of Retired First Sergeant Rhonda Thomas, a former officer with the Easton Police Department.
First Sergeant Thomas faithfully served the Easton community for 25 years from 1992 to 2017. During her time with EPD She was known for a focus and dedication to ensuring the safety of Easton residents, leading in efforts to enforce occupant and pedestrian safety as well as intoxicated driving enforcement.

Rhonda mentored many younger officers throughout her career, leaving behind a lasting impact.
Upon her retirement, First Sergeant Thomas continued her dedication to public service by taking the position of Chief of Public Safety at Chesapeake Community College in 2017.
We offer our sincerest condolences to her family and loved ones. Services will be held on Saturday, October 28th at The Todd Performing Arts Center at Chesapeake College. The family will receive visitors from 10-12 followed by a funeral service at noon.
