DELAWARE STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN FELONY THEFT FROM HARRIS TEETER
Selbyville, DE - Delaware State Police arrested Glenn Haught, 37, from Bishopville, Maryland, for felony shoplifting charges following a theft investigation.
On the afternoon of July 17, 2024, Delaware State Troopers were dispatched to Harris Teeter, a local grocery store located at 31221 Americana Parkway in Selbyville, Delaware, following a report of shoplifting.
Upon arrival, Troopers were informed that an unidentified individual had stolen over $5,000 worth of consumable merchandise from the grocery store since June 2024.
Following a thorough investigation, the police identified the suspect as Glenn Haught. Later that day, Haught returned to the store, where he was held in custody by the store's asset protection personnel until the police arrived.
Haught was subsequently arrested and taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with felony theft. The case was brought before Justice of the Peace Court 2, after which Haught was released on a $2,000 unsecured bond.
