DELAWARE STATE POLICE ARREST MILFORD MAN FOR DRUG OFFENSES

Millsboro, Delaware - A man has been taken into custody by the Delaware State Police following a high-speed chase that ended in a crash and left one person seriously injured. Candido Felix Reynolds, 40, from Milford, Delaware, now faces significant charges, including felony drug offenses and multiple traffic violations.


Reynolds' reckless actions took place on January 25, 2025, around 6:05 p.m., when state troopers attempted to pull him over. The trooper involved had spotted an equipment violation on Reynolds' Audi A8 while it was traveling southbound on Mount Joy Road. However, upon noticing the trooper's efforts, Reynolds accelerated his vehicle and fled the scene.


His dangerous evasion continued onto Cannon Road where his control slipped at the intersection with Indian Mission Road. At this point, Reynolds' Audi collided with a Jaguar XK driven by an 83-year-old local man.


The elderly Jaguar driver, also from Millsboro, Delaware, suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash and was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. Reynolds, on the other hand, incurred minor injuries but declined any treatment.


In the aftermath of the shocking crash, state troopers conducted a search ofReynolds' Audi, leading to a startling discovery. Within the vehicle, law enforcement found approximately 29.14 grams of cocaine.


Following his arrest, Reynolds was taken to Troop 4 for processing. He was presented before Justice of the Peace Court 7 and was lodged at the Sussex Correctional Institution, with his bail set at a secured bond of $7,000.

Indian Mission Road was closed for approximately 4 hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.
