State of Delaware - The Delaware State Police have arrested Corey Cohee, a 41-year-old resident of Milford, Delaware, in connection with the theft of a Tesla Cybertruck. The incident occurred in Lincoln, Delaware, and was reported at 8:10 a.m. on May 18, 2024.

The stolen vehicle, a 2024 silver Tesla Cybertruck, was initially reported missing from a residence on Brick Granary Road. At its disappearance, the vehicle bore a temporary New Jersey registration.

After receiving the report, the responding troopers used the vehicle's tracking system to locate the occupied truck off Pinecone Drive.

Upon attempting to approach the vehicle, the Tesla, driven by Cohee, sped off, ignoring all attempts by the police to signal it to stop. A brief pursuit ensued, ending with the Tesla stopping back on Brick Granary Road, where Cohee was taken into custody without any further incident.

Following his arrest, Cohee was transported to Troop 7. He was formally charged and later arraigned there by Justice of the Peace Court 3. Cohee is held at Sussex Correctional Institution under a secured bond of $4,002.
