DELAWARE STATE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A SUNDAY SHOOTING IN FRANKFORD

Frankford, DE - The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred yesterday in Frankford, Delaware.
According to official reports, troopers responded to a distress call about a shooting around 1:00 p.m. on February 2, 2025, in the 28000 block of Gum Tree Road, Frankford.
Upon their arrival, the officers found a 41-year-old man who had been shot. He was assisted by personnel from the Frankford Fire Company and then transported to a local hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
The initial investigation revealed that an argument between the victim and a black male suspect at a nearby residence escalated, leading to the suspect allegedly shooting the victim before fleeing the scene.
