DELAWARE STATE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A LATE-NIGHT SHOOTING IN MILLSBORO

Millsboro, DE - The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on the evening of April 3, 2025, in Millsboro. Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 9:38 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire in the 26000 block of Mount Joy Road.

Preliminary findings indicate that an unidentified suspect or suspects fired multiple shots at a residence on Mount Joy Road. Fortunately, despite the damage caused to a house, a shed, and three vehicles, the four individuals who were present in the house at the time were unharmed and uninjured.

The Criminal Investigations Unit of Delaware State Police Troop 4 is actively looking into the circumstances surrounding this incident. In an effort to gather more information, detectives are reaching out to the public for assistance.
