COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE FIRE IN BERLIN
West Ocean City, MD - The Worcester County Fire Marshal's Office investigated a residential structure fire that took place early this morning in West Ocean City.
At 5:09 AM, the Ocean City Fire Department was alerted to a structure fire at 9724 Stephen Decatur Highway in West Ocean City, Maryland.
Upon arrival, crews observed fire and smoke coming from a pole barn at the rear of the property housing a recreational vehicle.
Firefighters quickly knocked the fire and remained on location for approximately 2 hours performing overhaul operations. The structure and recreational vehicle located inside it are considered a complete loss.
Deputies from the Worcester County Fire Marshal's Office responded to the scene and conducted a thorough fire scene examination. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
