CITY OF SALISBURY WELCOMES JULIE ENGLISH TO A NEW ROLE OF CITY CLERK

Salisbury, Maryland - The City of Salisbury marks a new page as Julie English steps into the role of City Clerk. English, having served the City for nearly a decade, brings a deep reservoir of knowledge and expertise to this pivotal role.


"I am thrilled to continue serving the City of Salisbury in a new capacity, drawing from my years of experience and hard-earned skills as Assistant City Clerk," English stated. She has met numerous challenges head-on in her tenure with the City, consistently exceeding expectations.


Julie English's decade-long journey began in 2015, and she has steadily climbed the ranks in various departments, proving her versatility and competence. Her roles have spanned from Buyer/Buyer Assistant in the Procurement Department, Office Manager for Field Operations, and Administrative Assistant in the Mayor's Office to, most recently, Assistant City Clerk/Records Administrator.


Known for her strong leadership and exceptional attention to detail, English's dedicated service includes vital tasks such as payroll preparation, overseeing records retention, and aiding in the election process. Her expertise in software systems like Munis, Asana, and Laserfiche and her firsthand experience with city operations have made her an exceptional asset to the City.


English's impressive academic background includes an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies from Wor-Wic Community College.


As Julie English assumes her new role, the City of Salisbury confidently anticipates her continued contributions. Her proven dedication and commitment ensure the integrity and efficiency of the City's administrative functions in the coming days.
