Salisbury, MD - The City of Salisbury will host a Free Bulk Pickup Week from Monday, March 17, to Friday, March 21, 2025. This initiative aims to help residents responsibly dispose of bulk waste while maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of Salisbury's neighborhoods.

Residents who wish to participate in Free Bulk Pickup Week must call Field Operations at 410-548-3177 starting Monday, March 10. When calling, they should specify that they are requesting a free bulk pickup during the designated week.

Please note that the deadline to schedule a pickup is Friday, March 14, at 12 p.m. Requests made after this deadline may not be fulfilled.

The pickups will occur on the residents' regular trash/recycling collection day, and items must be placed curbside by 6 a.m. on that day. If a call to Field Operations goes to voicemail, residents are advised to leave a detailed message that includes their name, phone number, address, and a list of items for pickup.

The city has established some guidelines for this service. Each residence may dispose of a maximum of three bulk items. Additionally, mattresses and fabric-covered furniture must be wrapped in plastic and secured with tape before being placed curbside.

Please note that appliances will not be accepted during the free bulk pickup, and bulk items should not be placed inside trash cans or recycling bins.

Residents of multi-unit complexes that utilize 300-gallon trash containers will not be eligible for the free bulk pickup. For any questions or to schedule a pickup, residents are encouraged to contact Field Operations at 410-548-3177.

This initiative presents an opportunity for the citizens of Salisbury to contribute to the cleanliness and preservation of their beautiful city.
