CAROLINE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPUTIES ARREST GOLDSBORO MAN FOR DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Goldsboro, MD - On November 27, 2023 Deputies from the Caroline County Sheriffs Office responded to 25000 block of Schuyler Road in Goldsboro, MD in reference to a domestic assault.
Upon arrival at the above location, Deputies met with the coomplainant/victim whom stated she had been physically assaulted by her ex-boyfriend/cohabitant who was later identified as Charles Kemp Jr.
Upon arrival at the above location, Deputies met with the coomplainant/victim whom stated she had been physically assaulted by her ex-boyfriend/cohabitant who was later identified as Charles Kemp Jr.
While speaking with the victim, Deputies observed signs of physical injury to the victim's left arm. The victim advised the Deputies that Kemp Jr had fled the scene prior to the Deputies arrival.
Deputies were able to locate Kemp Jr in the area, at which time he was taken into custody without incident.
On November 27, 2023, Kemp was transported to the District Court Commissioner where he was held on no bond and placed in custody of the Caroline County Detention Facility.
On November 28, 2023, Kemp was seen by Judge Joseph Riley, who released Kemp on a $10,000 unsecured personal bond.
Kemp has been ordered to appear in court on January 25, 2024 in the District Court of Maryland.
