Caroline County, MD - A motor vehicle crash in Caroline County, Maryland, has taken the life of a Salisbury, Maryland resident and has left two people with injuries from the incident.

The incident happened on Tuesday evening and is currently under investigation by the Maryland State Police.

Courtney Dunn, a 30-year-old resident of Salisbury, Maryland, lost her life in this incident. Dunn was the sole occupant of a Ford vehicle involved in the crash.

The second vehicle, a Chevrolet, was driven by Paulton Panton, 41, of Preston, Maryland. Panton and a 16-year-old passenger were airlifted to local medical facilities for the treatment of their injuries. The Maryland State Police Aviation Command coordinated the airlift to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury and the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Once the investigation concludes, the findings will be submitted to the Caroline County State's Attorney's Office for further decisions on potential charges.
