CAMBRIDGE, MD - On February 17 2024, at approximately 11:16 PM, Yareliz Perez Rodriguez, a 20-year-old resident of Cambridge, Maryland, was arrested after she was found to be driving under the influence (DUI) and in possession of cannabis.
At approximately 11:16 pm, officers of the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) found a stranded vehicle stuck in the mud at Park Lane, just before Greenwood Avenue in Cambridge, Maryland.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Rodriguez. Upon speaking to Rodriguez, the officers reported that she displayed signs of impairment, with a distinct smell of alcohol emanating from her breath. Rodriguez admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages before taking the wheel.
