CAMBRIDGE POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN VEHICLE BREAK-IN CASE
Cambridge, MD - On the morning of October 11, 2024, officers from the Cambridge Police Department responded to a report of a possible theft from a motor vehicle in the 500 block of Harrington Avenue in Cambridge, Maryland.
Upon arrival, the officers reviewed video footage that showed an individual approaching several parked cars and tampering with the door handles. A description of the suspect was provided, and a subject matching that description was located and identified as Tamarion Trashen Williams.
Upon completing their investigation, Williams confessed to law enforcement of breaking into a vehicle. A search conducted on him revealed he was in possession of the items that were reported stolen.
The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Cambridge Police Department for further processing and his initial court appearance. Following his initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner, Williams was released on his own personal recognizance.
The charges against him included Theft of $100 to under $1,500 and Rogue and Vagabond.
